PURSUIT OF PERFECTION LACROSSE
MISSION STATMENT
To develop people through sport teaching qualities of life to use for life.
THE VISION
POP Lacrosse's vision is to play a part in developing the top lacrosse players in Florida.
"For the past twenty-two years, lacrosse has given me purpose and direction. I feel a deep responsibility to pass on my love and knowledge of the game to those who share the same passion and seek guidance. I owe so much to my coaches—Bill Pyatt, Andy Sinclair, Mike Gallo, Jeremy Smith, and Tony Moreschi. Each of them gave me opportunities that sparked a lifelong connection to the sport. Without their mentorship, POP Lacrosse wouldn't exist.”

ABOUT
The Company
Pursuit of Perfection Lacrosse Inc. (POP Lacrosse) was established to deliver passionate, high-level coaching to athletes who are committed to elevating their game. Founded by Travis Schieber in March 2020 and officially launched in June of the same year, POP Lacrosse is built on a foundation of experience, discipline, and dedication to player development. Now in his eleventh year of coaching, Travis has guided athletes across Florida at every level of the game—professional, collegiate, high school, and youth. His training sessions focus on core principles of the sport, emphasizing stick skills, decision making, and the discipline necessary to succeed both on and off the field.

Lacrosse
Travis Schieber grew up in Winter Park, Florida, where he developed a deep passion for both hockey and lacrosse. A standout at Winter Park High School, he was a four-year letterman at the LSM (Long Stick Midfielder) position and contributed on the man-up unit as a key special teams player. Though recruited to play at the collegiate level, Travis chose to conclude his competitive playing career after high school. His coaching journey began in 2015 as a volunteer with a local youth recreational team in his hometown. His leadership and dedication quickly earned him the role of program director. During this time, he began working privately with athletes in one-on-one and small group settings, steadily building a loyal student base. In June 2020, Travis publicly launched Pursuit of Perfection Lacrosse (POP Lacrosse), and by October of that year, he committed to coaching full time. Since then, he has continued to grow POP Lacrosse into a respected name in player development throughout Florida. In spring 2021, he accepted the Head Coach position for the East Ridge High School boys varsity lacrosse program. Under his leadership, the team achieved a 13-4 record—the best in program history—culminating in its first-ever playoff appearance and victory.
In late fall of 2024, Travis began volunteering with the Rollins College Women’s Lacrosse Program and is slated to coach with the team during the 2025 spring season. He remains dedicated to mentoring and developing lacrosse players across the state through private instruction and team coaching.
